We work year-round and in all weathers. This photo in late-Spring sunshine shows a window after full restoration by sashwindowstlc. But the ‘Before’ photo of the same window in less idyllic weather shows what we often find under layers of filler and old paint (and sometimes snow!) – a badly rotted sill and pulley stiles. Replacing just the rotten timber with close copies of the originals allowed most of this 1830s window to be conserved.
